The longer you wait between the fixing of the picture and the stroke, the less vivid the former will be, and if you start thinking of your hands, feet, elbows, head, and all the rest of it in the interval, the picture will be quite blurred, and you will have lost all sense of distance and direction. Take one good look, fix the picture in your mind's eye, and play at once into the picture.
